Zetlight ZN1702 LED unit review

I have had the unit over my 12L pico reef for about two and a half months and I am very impressed with it. I must admit that I wasn’t sure the unit was going to be any good at only 11W but it has sustained SPS and I can even see a bit of growth on my SPS frags along with great colours.

The storm function I personally find is a bit of a gimmick and not really necessary but it’s still cool to show off to your reefing friends when they call over. The ability to dim the blues separately from the whites, greens and reds by remote is great for night viewing although its a shame it doesn’t do it automatically but for the price of the unit I would highly recommend it for anyone wanting to run a pico reef.
